How am I a spring?

  • Spring is one of the two warm seasons, so individuals who are spring have warm undertones

  • Spring is mainly light to medium intensities of colors.

  • Spring’s colors are typically yellow or orange undertones

  • Spring has vibrant and vivid colors, rather than all muted

How can I be more than one season?

  • It is typical for there is one season color palette that is the main, or first season. A second season palette may then be introduced, as it compliments the individual

  • You may have a neutral skin tone, rather than completely warm or cool.

  • You may have a combination of cool and warm features, when this is the case different colors and undertones will compliment you differently.

  • Power colors (best colors) are seasonal agnostic, so warm vs. cool aside, that color will compliment you. 

  • If your skin gains color from the sun, then your color palette may open to colors that you don’t love when you have less color.

  • As a spring you are warm toned and will need more of a warm color-warm browns or greens.

Cheeks

  • As a spring you are warm toned and will like warm bronze, warm reds, and corals,

  • As a spring and warm toned and will like more peach, coral, orange-red undertone lip colors.

When you know a color is for you

  • Your face may glow, tan, or a highlight

  • Your eyes may pop or change color

  • The whites of your eyes may be fierce

  • You may get color in your cheeks or lips

  • Your lips may look more full

  • Your facial structure may be more visible

  • Even your hair can pop

  • You may look fierce, sexy, innocent, or fun in certain colors

Autumn Energy

When you know a color is not for you

  • You won’t pop

  • You will look washed out

  • Your face may look flat

  • You may disappear with the color

  • You may feel harsh

  • It can also emphasize an undertone of our skin that you may not want. The most common are yellow, red, blue, and green. 

This may sound crazy, but from doing color analysis on hundreds of women I have found that certain personality traits are largely aligned with winter.

  • You are inviting and make people feel safe. You may lead with open acceptance as well as a baddy boss type. You are probably grounded and giving. 100%, your skin type is what we all want.
